The Massachusetts Energy Facilities Siting Board will hold a public comment hearing on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Belchertown Town Hall Auditorium, 2 Jabish Street, Belchertown. The hearing concerns National Grid’s Central to Western Massachusetts Energy Replacement Project, which proposes rebuilding existing electric transmission lines within the current corridor.
Residents may attend to learn about the project and provide comments directly to the Siting Board. The meeting will also be available remotely via Zoom, and written public comments will be accepted through Wednesday, January 28, 2026.
