The Town of Amherst is accepting applications for its newly formed Transportation and Parking Commission. Applications will be reviewed starting Sunday, February 1, 2026. The commission will gather public suggestions and requests related to transportation and parking, review concerns, propose bylaws, and may approve changes to public ways. Applicants must be Amherst residents, and experience or interest in areas such as transportation design, safety and equity, public transit, walking and biking, parking, or street lighting is relevant.
