The Town of Belchertown is seeking a volunteer Veterans Grave Officer (VGO) to begin June 1, 2026. Responsibilities include ensuring all veterans’ graves in town are properly maintained and kept in respectful condition, clearing weeds, repairing or resetting headstones, maintaining grave surroundings and fencing, and coordinating placement of flags on graves for observances such as Memorial Day.
