Immigration Rights Online Talk by LWV Amherst

The League of Women Voters of Amherst Racial Justice Committee will host a free online discussion on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 7:00 PM via Zoom. The program will focus on immigrant rights and how bystanders can respond to ICE sightings. Speakers include Ariana Keigan, Associate Director of the Pioneer Valley Workers Center, and Javier Luengo-Garrido, Deputy Field Director at ACLU Massachusetts. The event is open to the public and is intended for community members interested in understanding their role in supporting immigrant neighbors.

This discussion is part of the Judy Brooks Conversation series, which highlights civic engagement and community-focused topics. Judy Harris Brooks (1944–2018) was an educator and civic leader known for her work addressing complex issues in her community.
