The Town of Amherst will hold a virtual public hearing on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 7:00 PM via Zoom to discuss final projects recommended for funding in the Fiscal Year 2026 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application. The final application will be submitted to the state on April 21, 2026.
Recommended funding includes:
- Non-Social Service: Multi-use Path along North Pleasant Street (Phase 3): $568,750
- Social Service Proposals: Amherst Survival Center ($68,214), Big Brothers Big Sisters ($25,746), Family Outreach of Amherst ($42,346), Center for New Americans ($14,856), Amherst Mobile Market ($23,846)
