Easy Three-Step Donation Process – Join or Start a Group
The Neighborhood Food Project (NFP) is a year-round food collection program that makes donating non-perishable items easy. Participants shop for extras, store them in orange NFP bags, and a Neighborhood Coordinator picks them up on the third Saturday of every even-numbered month. Donations support the Amherst Survival Center.
Become a Coordinator or Join a Group
Those interested in becoming a coordinator for their neighborhood, school, or business, or joining an existing group, can contact the pantry. Suggested donations include pasta, canned tuna/chicken, cereal, peanut butter, juice boxes, cooking oil, coffee, toiletries, and more.
