A new social event for seniors, “Senior Sips,” will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Protocol restaurant, One East Pleasant Street, downtown Amherst. The event, hosted by the Amherst Senior Center, the Friends of the Amherst Senior Center, and the Amherst BID, offers those aged 60 and older an opportunity to connect with neighbors and learn about local resources. Complimentary appetizers will be provided; attendees purchase their own beverages. Protocol will donate 10% of food and beverage proceeds from the group to the Friends of the Amherst Senior Center.
