Talk on Understanding Gender Identity at Sunderland Library

A presentation, “Understanding Gender in Today’s World: Information, Misinformation & Disinformation,” will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 6:30 PM. Dr. Genny Beemyn, Director of The Stonewall Center at UMass Amherst, will discuss why many young people identify as trans and non-binary, how adults can support them, and share basic gender terminology and current research. The event will take place at the Sunderland Public Library, 20 School Street.
