Amherst Ballet will offer a Storytime & Movement program on November 22, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. in the Children’s Reading Room at Hadley Public Library. Director Mikayla Archambeau will read a Slavic folktale about Snegurochka, the Snow Maiden, while one of her dancers performs short variations from parts of the story. Children and caregivers will then be invited to join in creative movement activities exploring how stories can be told through dance, followed by a question-and-answer session about ballet, dancing, and choreography. This free program is intended for young children, their families, and caregivers interested in dance, storytelling, or learning more about ballet.
