Amherst Cinema celebrates Art House Theater Day on Thursday, July 30, 2026, in partnership with Art House Convergence. The lineup includes:
- 2:00 PM: Network – New 4K restoration of Sidney Lumet’s prescient 1976 satire.
- 4:45 PM: Sugar Island – Award-winning Dominican Republic drama blending social realism, spirituality, and Afro-futurism.
- 7:00 PM: Sorry to Bother You – 2018 hit returns with an exclusive, pre-recorded Q&A with director Boots Riley, available only at participating Art House Theater Day venues.
