Join author and illustrator Astrid Sheckels at The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art on October 11, 2025, from 11:00 to 11:30 a.m. for the launch of her new book Flora and the Jazzers. The story follows Flora the ferret, a determined scullery maid who dreams of hearing her favorite band, the Jazzers. Sheckels will read from her book and lead a short art tutorial in the museum’s auditorium.
A book signing will follow the program. The event will be held in the Auditorium and is free with Museum Admission and free for Museum Members.
