The Kinney Center for Interdisciplinary Renaissance Studies (UMass Amherst) seeks artists for its 2025-2026 residency program, offering:
- Duration: 1 week to several months
- Resources: Access to 1,000+ rare books/manuscripts, Five College archives, and workspaces
- Theme: Projects engaging Earth or Air elements (connection, atmosphere, craft traditions)
Eligible Disciplines:
Visual arts, writing, performance, craft (woodworking, fiber arts, book arts, etc.)
Requirements:
- Submit proposal, CV, and work samples by July 31, 2025
- Donate one residency artwork to the Center
