The Cushman String Quartet will perform a chamber music program at the Amherst History Center, 45 Boltwood Walk, Amherst, on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM. The concert celebrates the birthday of Amherst Historical Society founder Mabel Loomis Todd. The program includes Joseph Haydn’s String Quartet in G Major, Op. 77, No. 1 and Jean Sibelius’s String Quartet in D Minor, Voces Intimae.
Performers include Laura Arpiainen (violin), Amanda Stenroos (viola), Elizabeth Rose (viola), and Karl Knapp (cello). The event is free and open to the public; seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open at 1:30 PM.
