The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art will host author and educator Britt Crow-Miller for a reading of her new picture book Thank You, Old Oak on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 11:00 to 11:30 a.m. in the Reading Library. The story follows Old Oak, a tree whose fall sparks a reflection on life, legacy, and the forest’s creatures.
The program includes a live reading, oak-themed science activities for children, and a book signing with the author. Signed copies may also be reserved online. The event is free with museum admission and free for museum members.
