Crescent Dancers Perform at South Hadley Library

The Crescent Dancers will present a family-friendly belly dance performance on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 11:00 AM–12:30 PM at the South Hadley Public Library (2 Canal St). The event showcases traditional Middle Eastern, North African, Greek, and Turkish dances, blending vibrant costumes with cultural education.

The Crescent Dancers have shared the artistry of Middle Eastern dance for 50 years, tracing their roots to founder Phyllis Wolf. The troupe performs both cabaret and folk styles from across the MEHNAT region (Middle East, North Africa, Hellas/Greece, and Turkey), combining dynamic choreography with historical storytelling. Known for their colorful costumes and audience engagement, they perform at cultural events, festivals, and private celebrations throughout New England.
