A free community screening of the documentary Taking Care will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at Tower Theaters in South Hadley. The film follows Seth and Laura Rogen’s journey caring for Laura’s mother, Adele, through early-onset Alzheimer’s disease.
The screening will include free popcorn and beverages. Following the film, a panel discussion will feature an elder law attorney, a geriatric nurse practitioner, a serious illness specialist, and a geriatric care manager. The event is open to the public and highlights the challenges and resilience of family caregiving.
