Learn to Patch Holes in Socks, Sweaters & Knits – Free Workshop
Local professional menders Max and Eli co-teach an introductory darning workshop on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at Sirius Community, 72 Baker Road, Shutesbury. Learn to use a needle and thread to patch holes in knit and crocheted items. Bring socks, sweaters, hats, or other items to repair, plus basic sewing supplies if you have them (some extras available). A casual mending circle open to all follows from 4:30-5:30 PM. Free; donations welcome.
