Celebrate Massachusetts Space Week at Mount Holyoke’s historic John Payson Williston Observatory (50 College St, South Hadley) on Thursday, April 24, 2025, 8-10 PM.
Highlights:
- View planets, galaxies & nebulae through the rare Clark refractor telescope (weather permitting)
- Rain-or-shine event with astronomy activities
- Free & open to all
Pre-event activities (6-8 PM):
- Cosmic crafts & movie screenings with ASTRO Club
- Solar system talk at Gaylord Library (7 PM)
Note: The observatory houses an 1880s-era telescope and modern UNISTELLAR smart scopes.
