The Hadley Public Library will host outdoor author and hiker Jeff Romano for a slideshow presentation on hiking opportunities throughout New England on Monday, October 20, 2025, from 6 to 7 PM at the library. The program will highlight routes from his latest guidebook, 100 Classic Hikes New England (updated June 2023), and feature insights on wildflowers, wildlife, and conservation success stories from all six New England states.
Romano, a lifelong hiker and author of four other guidebooks, will discuss trip planning, share advice, and answer audience questions. Copies of his books will be available for purchase after the presentation.
