A free online talk on Thomas Jefferson will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Part of a year-long presidential series, “America’s Preeminent Presidential Doodler” Heather Rogers will share facts, illustrations, and trivia from her sketchbooks, covering topics like Jefferson’s red hair, invention of the swivel chair, and obsession with comparing American and European mammals. The program will be recorded and is sponsored by multiple libraries.
Registration is required to receive the Zoom link. To register and for more information, visit the Jones Library calendar page.
Heather Rogers is a freelance graphic designer, illustrator, and self-described “presidential nerd” who has read multiple biographies of every U.S. president.
