Free Salsa Class & Latin Dance Social – Rain or Shine
Salsa con Tacos presents “Salsa in the Park” on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM at Mill River Recreation Area, 95 Montague Road, Amherst. The event features a free salsa lesson with Prashad & Michelle from the BSKE Dance Community from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a free Latin dance social from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM with salsa, bachata, and merengue music by DJ RedIV. A food vendor will be on site (cash preferred). Sponsored by Amherst Recreation and funded by Amherst Cultural Council and Mass Cultural Council.
