Artist Stephen Saxenian leads a two-day skull anatomy workshop at Steve’s Studio (79 Teawaddle Hill Rd, Leverett) on May 17–18, 2025, 9:30 AM–4:30 PM daily. Participants will:
- Sculpt a clay skull to understand 3D structure
- Draw from plaster models & a live model using the Loomis method
- Focus on volumetric sketching over finished pieces

- Cost: $250 (includes clay/armature; sliding scale available)
- For: Artists with portrait/figure drawing experience
- Bring: Drawing materials (newsprint, charcoal) or borrow provided tools
