Geshe Thubten Jinpa, Ph.D., renowned Tibetan scholar and principal English translator to His Holiness the Dalai Lama, will deliver a talk titled “Why Compassion Matters in Challenging Times” on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM in Johnson Chapel. Jinpa is a leading voice in compassion training, Buddhist thought, and the dialogue between contemplative practice and science.
