The Sunderland Public Library will host a talk, “Constructing the Connecticut River Valley: Uncovering Our Vernacular Architecture 1640-1750,” on Monday, January 12, 2026, at 6:00 PM. Nevan Carling, a conservation timber framer, will present research on early settlement, genealogy, and distinctive regional timber frame construction.
