Valley Classical Concerts will present the acclaimed Ulysses String Quartet on Sunday, March 30, 2025, from 3:00–5:00 PM at Sweeney Concert Hall, Smith College, Northampton, MA. The program features:
- Haydn’s “Emperor” Quartet (Op. 76/3)
- Lera Auerbach’s String Quartet No. 3 (“Cetera desunt”)
- Dvořák’s String Quartet in A-flat Major (Op. 105)

Formed in 2015, the Ulysses String Quartet (Christina Bouey and Rhiannon Banerdt, violins; Peter Dudek, viola; Grace Ho, cello) has garnered international acclaim for its technical brilliance and adventurous programming. Winners of the 2019 Vietnam International Competition, they are GBH Music’s first quartet-in-residence and advocates for underrepresented composers. Their debut album, Shades of Romani Folklore, and educational outreach reflect their mission to make classical music accessible to all.
