The Yiddish Book Center will host a virtual talk on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 7:00 PM with Stefanie Halpern, editor of 100 Objects from the Collections of the YIVO Institute for Jewish Research and YIVO’s director of collections. The discussion will highlight how the book chronicles modern Jewish history through objects including ruby red slippers, a medieval manuscript, and a Yiddish folk medicine prescription.
