South Hadley Public Library will host a Visual Mending workshop on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at 2 Canal Street, South Hadley. Participants will learn the basics of visible mending, including 5–6 basic stitches that can be used to repair many types of textiles. Beginners are welcome. Bring textiles needing repair to get started, or make a sampler using the techniques taught. All materials are supplied. The workshop helps residents learn practical skills for renewing and refreshing beloved textiles. If weather forces a change, the snow date is February 18, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
