The Mill District Local Art Gallery will host its Winter Art Opening on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at 91 Cowls Road in Amherst. The event is free and open to artists, art lovers, and community members.
The opening marks the start of the winter exhibition period and features artwork by more than 30 local artists, all available for purchase. Artists joining the gallery for the winter quarter include Kate Wills, Jude Pokorny, Seija Cope, Malea Rhodes, Scott A. Henderson, Lesley Vanderpoel, Dani Antes, Cheryl Dutton, Stephen Kotfila, and Dawul Nuri. Additional gallery artists will also be returning for the winter season. Live music will be provided by Avi Steinhardt, and light refreshments will be available.
