Union #38 School District is accepting kindergarten registrations for the 2026–2027 school year from Monday, January 5 through Friday, January 30, 2026, during regular school hours at each family’s local elementary school. Children who will be five years old on or before Tuesday, September 1, 2026 are eligible to register. Parents or guardians must visit their elementary school to register their child and pick up a registration packet. Required documents include proof of residency, the child’s official birth certificate, and a physical exam form from within the past year that includes immunization records. All completed forms must be returned to the child’s elementary school by Friday, February 6, 2026 so that health records can be reviewed before the school year begins.
Visiting day dates and times will be announced later by each school’s principal.
