UMass Amherst is offering a wide variety of Summer 2025 classes open to current students, visiting students, and the public.   • Computer Science
    • Computer Systems Principles (COMPSCI 230) – Learn the foundations behind scalable, high-performance systems like Google. Topics include data representation, assembly, and operating system services.
    • Reasoning Under Uncertainty (COMPSCI 240) – Covers probability, random variables, and Bayesian thinking to model and reason about uncertain data.
    • Introduction to Algorithms (COMPSCI 311) – Study efficient algorithm design and data structures. Includes graph theory, dynamic programming, and computational limits.
