The 5th annual ID-a-thon for New England and New York plants runs for 48 hours, from 7:00 PM on Friday, February 20, to 7:00 PM on Sunday, February 22, 2026. The goal is to reduce the backlog of plant observations on iNaturalist that need identification. Participants of all skill levels are welcome to help identify plant observations from the region. The Pelham Library is hosting a gathering on Saturday, February 21, where attendees can work together on the project; new users can get help getting started.
