The second annual Amherst Global Village Festival will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Amherst-Pelham Regional High School. The free event is open to the public and focuses on celebrating cultural diversity and inclusivity in Amherst.
The festival will include live performances featuring traditional music and dance, local vendors offering crafts and goods from a range of cultures, and international food vendors serving cuisine from different regions. The event is designed for families and community members of all ages. Additional programming details are expected to be announced in March 2026.
The festival is hosted by the Town of Amherst Department of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, the Amherst Human Rights Commission, and Amherst-Pelham Regional Public Schools in partnership with the Multilingual Parent Advisory Council, the Amherst Business Improvement District, the Amherst Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Black Business Association of Amherst Area.
Organizers are currently seeking performers, vendors, sponsors, and volunteers to participate in the event.
