Straw Dog Writers Guild, The WOW Center, and Whip City Wordsmiths will host a free monthly open mic on the second Thursday of each month, starting May 14, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at The WOW Center, 105 Elm Street, Westfield. Writers of all skill levels are invited to share a 3-5 minute piece of prose or poetry. Readers sign up on a first-come basis when doors open. Beverages are available.
