The Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women will host the 2026 Girls Empowerment Leadership Initiative (GELI) Summit on Thursday, April 23, at UMass Amherst. The event is for young women ages 14-22 and includes leadership workshops, civic engagement training, networking, and a youth town hall. Doors open at 9:30 AM with breakfast and networking; the program runs through 4:30 PM. Registration is open for individuals and groups.
