The Yiddish Book Center will host a virtual talk on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM ET by renowned scholar and curator Barbara Kirshenblatt-Gimblett. She will explore what it means to put Yiddish on display, examining how exhibitions shape understanding of Yiddish language, culture, and Jewish history. Kirshenblatt-Gimblett is University Professor Emerita at NYU and Ronald S. Lauder Chief Curator of the Core Exhibition at POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw.
