Free Concerts on the Town Common Fridays in July, 5-8 PM
The Amherst Business Improvement District announces the 2026 Summer Concert Series. All concerts are free and open to the public. Beer, wine, cider, and seltzers (21+) and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase.

Amherst Community Band at Sweetser Park – June 27, July 26 & August 15
The Amherst Community Band performs at Sweetser Park (off Lessey and Main Streets) on Saturday, June 27 (6:30 PM, celebrating America’s 250th), Saturday, July 26 (6:30 PM), and Saturday, August 15 (6:30 PM). Rain location for June 27 is St. Brigid’s Parish Hall. Funded by the Amherst Cultural Council and Mass Cultural Council.
Independence Day Celebration – July 3 at McGuirk Stadium
The Amherst Community Band, Green Street Brew, and The Frost Heaves and Hales perform at the Annual Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks on Friday, July 3, at McGuirk Alumni Stadium, UMass Amherst.
