Amherst Community Band Celebrates 250th Anniversary of Declaration of Independence
The Amherst Community Band presents a free outdoor Concert of American Music on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 6:30 PM at Sweetser Park in Amherst. Conducted by Dave Morris and Lexie Black, the program celebrates the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence in collaboration with the Amherst Historical Society and Amherst BID. Bring a lawn chair. Rain location: St. Brigid’s Parish, 43 N. Prospect Street, Amherst. Supported by Amherst Cultural Council, Mass Cultural Council, UMass Amherst, and the Town of Amherst.
