Award-winning author Fran Wilde will appear at Odyssey Bookshop on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 7 PM to discuss her new novel, A Philosophy of Thieves, with fellow fantasy author Scott Lynch.
Set in a futuristic world where performance thieves captivate the wealthy, A Philosophy of Thieves follows siblings Roo and Dax Canarvier as they race against time in a high-stakes heist to save their father.
Fran Wilde is a two-time Nebula Award winner and author of numerous acclaimed works of speculative fiction. She teaches writing at Western Colorado University and Vermont College of Fine Arts. Scott Lynch, best known for The Lies of Locke Lamora, will join her for the conversation.
