A female pit bull–type mixed-breed dog was found in the area of College Street in South Hadley on the evening of December 4, 2025 and brought to the South Hadley Police Department. The dog is not microchipped and the owner has not been identified. She has a short coat with gray and white coloring and tan markings above her eyes. The dog has been turned over to Granby Animal Control for care while officers attempt to locate her owner.
