A letter-writing event, “Because of Them: Letters to the Women Who Shaped Us,” will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. In recognition of the 50th anniversary of coeducation at Amherst College, participants are invited to write letters honoring women and gender-expansive people who have influenced their lives. Stationery, bubble tea, and pastries will be provided. The event will take place in the Women’s & Gender Center, Keefe Campus Center, Room 211, and is open to the public.
