Edible Plant Series, Battle of the Botanicals & Summer Season Program
The Hitchcock Center for the Environment offers three adult programs in June 2026:
- Edible Plant Series with Alex Klein: Three Sundays – June 14, August 9 & September 20. Learn foraging, botanical identification, ethical harvest, and processing wild food. Sliding scale $25-$40 per class or $60-$90 for series. Register online.
- Battle of the Botanicals (21+): Thursday, June 18, 6:00-9:00 PM at Amherst College Powerhouse. Ticketed fundraiser with appetizer and cocktail tastings from top bartender/chef teams, live mix-off, and celebrity judges. Early bird $100, general $120. Benefits environmental justice programs.
- The Heart of the Season: Summer with Dave Eyerman: Wednesdays, June 24, July 1 & 8, 6:00-8:00 PM. Explore summer through Chinese Medicine and Earth-based spiritual practices. Sliding scale $60-$90 for series.
