Local artist and children’s book author/illustrator Ruth Sanderson will present “My Fairy Tale Life” on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Sanderson has illustrated over ninety books, including her own retellings of classic fairy tales, and has received awards such as the Texas Bluebonnet Award. Her work has been featured in national exhibitions. The event will be held at the Amherst Woman’s Club, 35 Triangle Street.

Ruth Sanderson lives in Easthampton, MA, and is the author-illustrator of numerous fairy tale books. Her first novel, The Mirror of Truth, a retelling of Snow White, was recently published.
