Author Kitty Burns Florey will speak about her book, The Music of Eighty: Learning in Old Age, on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Amherst Woman’s Club (35 Triangle St). The book is a memoir about learning to play the viola da gamba in her eighties.
Florey is the author of 15 novels and two nonfiction works. Her talk will explore themes of aging, learning, and perseverance.
