The Amherst Downtown Business Improvement District has released its initial calendar of community events for Winter 2026. Scheduled events include a Power U Business Mixer and Basketball Games at UMass Amherst on January 10, a Lion-Dragon Parade celebrating Asian restaurants and culture on February 8, Valentine’s Day activities on February 14, the Fire & Ice Winter Festival in partnership with Amherst College and Amherst Recreation on February 21, and a Downtown Dessert Crawl on March 28.
