Weekly Youth Events with CRESS & Jones Library
The Town of Amherst, CRESS (Community Responders for Equity, Safety & Service), and the Jones Library will host May Fest on three Fridays in May 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bangs Community Center Large Activity Room, 70 Boltwood Walk. The program is designed for youth in grades 7-12 and aims to educate about CRESS services and promote the library’s new location and young adult programs.
Weekly Themes & Activities
- May 15: Axe throwing (safe, indoor version), bridge building contest, snacks & more.
- May 22: Basket pong, trivia contest, snacks & more.
- May 29: Mario Kart tournament, button & bracelet making, pizza, popcorn, cotton candy & more.
Registration is requested. Sign up online so organizers know how much pizza to order. Antonio’s Pizza has generously donated food.
